Just started the tuning process with Jon Moored and have run into a slipping belt issue right away. Using the 1460 Bando belt that came with the 2.85 Littens kit. The car is a 22 Redeye Charger.
Used the same pulley and belt kit on my 2019 Hellcat for about 4000 miles. No issues, no slip no dust. Have a total of about 125 miles on the belt and pulley. Light dust on 2-3 3rd gear pulls. Cleaned.it off. Made 3 more aggressive pulls 40 mph to 100-110. Heavy dust everywhere. Belt is looser than it should be. Seems even looser after the last 3 pulls.
. Pulleys seems in good alignment with the belt in the middle as it should be. Everything was clean when installed. The obvious is it would seem to need a shorter belt. What are people running for belts with this set up?

Think the issue is the belt is to long and it is slipping

I'm running Gates black belt. Used the greens 20 years ago and found the standard to work better. As size the 572 is pretty common size with a 285 pulley. You may have to look up what size your belt is and compare to the gates for length

Is that a Littens your running? Wonder if only one tenth of an inch will make the difference. Found a 1450 bando 10 mm shorter or .4 of an inch. May be ordering a couple I guess.

I run a grip tec pulley but I was using the 2.85 pulley as general size as to what belts are run. I have never used bando belts.

Where does the wear indicator on your belt tensioner ride? Should be in the middle

See photo in first post. I believe that is hopefully the issue. It is to loose.

Did you also check to make sure the Litens pulley is spaced properly from the blower snout? Should have 2mm gap.

Just went to the garage to double check. It had a pretty good gap and I did not use the extra washer spacer. The gap came out to 2.92 mm.

The car is a 22 charger Redeye. Yes the tensioner does look different than others including my 19 hellcat. That is what it came with bought new only has 1600 miles. No issues with stock size upper and green belt.

I have the 285 Litens on mine but my belt is a bit tighter than yours but not by much. I’m running the bando 1460 also. I have some belt dust so I’ll keep an eye on it.
