Hi guys! It's been a while. Does anyone have experience with the Rings of Hell clutched changeable pulley system from Satera Tuning? It sounds like a great idea. I'm curious about reliability though.

Seems the price was high. I and others think the griptec is a better way to go. The pulley isn't smooth so less chance of belt slip

I have a 2.75 on the way, they’re built to order. Supposed 4x stronger then the litens, has a 5 year no questions asked warranty, quick change pulley shells, $670 for complete unit during Black Friday sale, why would anyone buy a litens pulley?? Should be here soon. He’s also going to be making them for the 3.0 Whipple by spring to he said.

So far so good with my metco. Pulley swaps are a breeze.

I'm interested in hearing how you like it. I'm currently running a Litens. It only allows me to run E-85, so I'm considering different options to allow running 93. The ability to swap different clutched rings sounds pretty good.

Decoupler pulleys are what I recommend on the IHI blowers. Ability to swap pulleys would be really nice so I'm curious how it works out. I'll have to run mine in black key now when on 93.

I killed 3 2.72 pulleys in 2 months, they can’t handle a +10 lower and 6800 rpm, too much tq transfer for them.
3925E6B3-3B91-449B-AFD9-EED047852078.jpeg Sent them back to Litens and they gave me a 50% off 1 coupon that won’t work and no pulleys in stock anyways. Great pulley??? Not by my opinion.

There's something to be said about having a slow car.

Not mine lol, not on the street at least, for a M6 kicks ass and takes names 60-130 and beyond.

Nothing. I put drag race insurance on it and you can't tag it. We have the Scat Pack for cruising around.

Latest versions, of the last 3 months, seem to be good so far. Pulleys come off the hubs like they are supposed to, clutch Action is great. They don’t slip even with a +10 lower driving a 2.74 Griptech prepped upper and a sticky super charger rated belt and AAD idler driving a ported 2.7 IHI seeing 7200 rpm. The only thing I haven’t tried to do with the latest version is to get one off the snout shaft yet, previous version no go, had to send the snout back to Satera for them to get it off. Which they did and they replaced the shaft in the snout and put new bearings on it and put a new clutch hub on it and sent it back to me No charge. They really have stood behind their product for me as a tester at least for the last 2-3 years since I started messing with their pulleys. I’m actually going to be buying another one soon for another IHI 2.7 blower that’s going to be spun even faster, just the clutch hub itself as I have enough shells around. I give them a 👍🏻
