High Tech EV Doesn't Solve The Charging Problem

Like it or not, wihtin the next 6 or 7 years there will be no choice, all the car manufacturers are switching over (Toyota is staying hybrid it appears).

Like it or not...in 6 or 7 years...It's gonna be culture shock to operate an EV...The Federal loss of tax revenue from gas and diesel HAS to be made up somewhere...what may seem like a bargain short term....is non sustainable...unless of course your foolish enough to think this "free lunch" will continue...

The whole system is not sustainable, do you really think this "reality" will continue? I own everything (well almost) and just ride the wave.

Thanks, we will keep enjoying our two Challenger Hellcats, the two TRXs, and the two Ram 3500s. And my girlfriend is quite content with her one remaining Porsche and the RS6 Avant. Heck, she even likes her Audi Q8, and I really like my Challenger GT AWD, too. And there's more, but I won't bore you with those. Especially since only one is electric; a John Deere eGator I bought for dirt cheap.

Oops, almost forgot the Durango Hellcat I just picked up. Anyway, I'm not in the least interested in a pissing match. Just like we're not in the least interested in the piss poor usefulness of some EV.

Regarding that specific question, I don't care. What I know is "free" charging is at least thru 2024, with the electric cars I own. I just drive the shit out of them and save a boat load of money. The tax credit is there at $ 7,500.00 but there are income limits based on the Inflation reduction act.

All I do is look at the all the incentives and credits out there and act accordingly.

No, I hate flying and would never have any kind of aircraft. And we're down to one residence. And thankfully it's far from the areas where the EV fanatics could be encountered.

But as an aside, this happens to be "Hellcat Forum Org.", not some greenie site, so maybe you should have expected a certain amount of backlash when trying to spread the EV gospel?

Much like I don't like that the government is trying to force them on us, I really don't like that you won't accept that an EV would be utterly useless to us. Not just in theory, but in real life.

Didn't ChargerChallenger, who owns a crap load of bitchin' vehicles, try an EV? A Lighting I think.
As I recall, he gave up on that one in a few weeks, despite living in a populated area and driving on major routes.

Wow, I have repeatedly gave you the math, but it means nothing, you have said you are negative on EV and it doesn't matter facts or not, therefore, you are a hater. Woke? wow, a member who speaks his mind but is closed minded and cannot do basic math (so it seems) and I am woke, just crazy.

Look at the title and thread here. You want to post on going 8 or 7's I am there, you want to post on modifications to hellcats. I am there, been there and done it. You want to post about records and who has the A8 record, I am there, I had the record for over 2 years and working on getting it back. Well...I really don't care what you saved..(or what you drive for that matter)...drive what you like..for whatever reason...while not knowing what the future holds...it's a pretty safe bet my assessment has merit..
