Its a Dodge bro..... Fit and finish isnt their strong point. I dont think any of the panels in my Redeye ever lined up properly lol Im betting daves thumbs down is at the pruduct not ur post

Me either. It’s a Fl car. Very angry, want to throw the whole thing away. Only spot on the entire car, undercarriage is immaculate

If it's a beach car it will be rusty. I has a Mercedes that didn't hold up when we lived on the beach.

I think it was poor panel fitment and the taillight cracked the part of the body filler at the corner, that’s what it is. That’s the quarter panel. These are notorious for that

Thinking about just pulling tail light, getting any bit of surface rust out, and then reattaching the corner with touch up paint

Either leave it be...or have a pro do it...unless your a skilled body man..

Growing up in my dad's body shop and painting my fair share of cars, leaving it be is the worst advice, but sometimes repairs can make the issue worse if you don't take the proper steps in the repair! Having a pro do it can be the best advice depending on the "Pro" but any competent person can make a basic repair such as this with minimal tools and skill. Prep is everything and you want to remove ALL the rust (mechanically or chemically) and treat with a rust preventative before your preferred method of reattachment. Just use good quality materials from an automotive store or preferably am automotive paint supply store (NOT from Walmart or HF, etc.) and take your time and I am sure you will do a fine job.

No, it’s all factory. It’s a 1 owner 2022 car. There’s no rust on any of the suspension or underneath. No orange peel. The Durango’s are notorious for paint issues though 2020+. And need to fix a few rock chips, also how I can tell it’s original. All of the panels are the same. Not a beach car. Inland.
