How long can I expect stock fuel pump w/ bap to survive? Also, if/when I upgrade to a dual pump system, will I need a re-tune?

Been reading a lot of bad press on the bap but too little, too late as I drop my car off in the am. It was a set up recommended by one of the top tuners but the more I look in to it as a viable fuel system upgrade, the more controversy I find.

Depends on what fuel you plan on using.
I would just go with what your tuner and shop builder recommended. I have the IE dual pumps and a BAP . Im on the E-85
It’s what my shop and my tuner recommended for my set up.

BAPs are fine as long as you are watching your logs, watch fuel pressure, injector duty cycle, fuel trims, etc. Compare them old to new, keep an eye on things and you will be fine.
