Searched but couldn’t find answers on this.
On a dual pump system, Fore hat with dual 295 pumps in a 2016 Hellcat both pumps on FPCM’s.
I need just a bit more fuel, fuel pressure dips just at the top of third and fourth (M6) driving injector DC up to just below bypass valve openning, hitting 81%, bypass will start openning at 85. This a Temporary bandaid until I add a third pump over winter as I’m not a BAP fan as a permanent solution.
I have a KB dual PnP BAP that a friend loaned me from his hellcat but for starters I wanted to just hook up 1 pump to the BAP and do a test hit to see if running only one pump boosted is enough. The BAP will be boost referenced switched to come on at 20 lbs of boost (adjustable 1-100 psi) as I’m running short on fuel top end running 24.8-25 lbs of boost.
Any known issues with just plugging in and running 1 pump as a first try? My concern is too much pressure as I assume once the BAP is on the FPCM’s have no pump speed control any longer?
