How many people would order a manual transmission Charger Hellcat?

Yes it did (ditch the option totally) because it did not want to recertify the chassis. A very expensive process.

I want to drive a automatic, I will get my turbo road racer 1.8 L Nissan out and terrorize the city. But I feel like a pirate and head to the beach for mermaids, I will get the stick H/C out. They love that whine in 2nd. Like an afradeeseact.

Have you driven a vehicle with this type of trans? My new GT500 has the 7 speed and it’s very different and I mean different not so sure I’d opt for this.

The slow one keeps the miles off the space ship. And there are times here by the beach you do not want to get caught in traffic with the stick. Just like any where else. With knee replacements, 3, the clutch just doesn't fit. Traffic,,, doesn't matter except burning up the cooling system In Fla. I still look cool in my 1.8 road racer sitting still.

I would like to see a 2 door Charger Hellcat Coupe with a manual trans and console optional. “6 on the floor” would be cool! Pop out rear quarter glass like on my old Road Runners.

It was pretty hard for me to understand the shift points of the car when we got married and my fiancée walked out of our church and the alter. When I signed the marriage license with the fiancé manager and left at the alter with a new flob and payment book. Sill cheaper than marriage. She got the house and I got both cats. But the shifting points from 1,000 miles now at 8,000 are totally different. Now it is so easy to go 1st to 3rd 2,000 miles ago I would not have happened. You have to acclimate you and the cars needs. Trust me the car will win. But fun. I will never have a speedy auto car. I product of the 70,s.

I like a manual in a cayon carver, not so much in a lead sled. The Charger being more utilitarian capable often finds itself in traffic doing daily driver duty. The auto in this thing is excellent, I would not be interested in replacing it with a stick. I would be interested in a weekend fun car that was a lot lighter and had a stick.

I agree it would not be fun in traffic every day but the Challenger is no better. Manual in a 2 door Charger would be a blast with the 3.90 rear! It would be kind of weird to have it in a 4 door.
