Seriously considering a 50-150 shot. What is everyone’s experience with nitrous on these cars? Wet vs dry? Can a dry shot be used, and the fuel enrichment handled in the tube for the inejctors? Or, does this require a wet shot? I’d be going with the plate in front of the throttle body. I’d think a dry shot would be better for this so you don’t have to worry about fuel dropping out of suspension when going through the rotors and hitting the IC bricks. Please post up your experience with both systems! Here to learn, so school me

Just in case u go Whipple (3.0 or 3.8) Nitrous Outlet sells a plate system that works really well...... jus sayn. Pretty dope.

Either way I would be looking at one of these or something similar. https://www.innovatemotorsports.com...bottle-pressure-air-fuel-ratio-gauge-kit.html

I have one but a good progressive controller and remote bottle heaters are something to look into as well. Jon tunes nitrous really well to so thats a plus!

So why do they give gaskets now with the o ringed plates and why did people have to use silicone on it before @Hatermkr?

They are saying the orings sat up to high causing the problem with the whipples. I used silicone still ate one. Used no plates factory gaskets ate one.

I’m just trying to figure out is nitrous is worth it for power, and what the best kind is. Not sure if these cars can be tuned for a dry shot and let the fuel injectors handle enrichment, or if they need a dedicated fuel system to prevent psi drop at rails for a wet shot

Just ask @jonx96 directly already.

Hey Jon, Will a hellcat take a dry shot?
If yes, where’s best to place the nozzle and how much can one get away with semi safely? (I say semi as Nitrous is never 100% safe is it?)
And if yes, how much injector headroom is needed

@Hatermkr how he feels about things that are dry 🤣 proper tuning you can do a small dry shot. But wet is easier 🤷
