Wanting to do an upper and lower pulley on my 2021 Super Stock, which is currently on an E85 tune with ID1300's... leaning toward a 2.85 upper and 10% lower. From what I've gathered, this will require off road mid pipes, correct?

Cat deletes sound pretty good with stock cat back. It's a little louder but not crazy. On e85 the smell if fine but can be pretty bad on 93, worse the colder it is outside
But also, my 9.1 was with full stock exhaust as was Jon's 8.8
1075 wheel through stock cats, but I think this is about the limit with cats as boost is higher then it should be and I’m thinking between cam and cats is the reason.

I was hoping being on E85 would eliminate some of the smell that I remember from previous cars being catless. If I decide to do off road mid pipes, they seem to be hard to come by now.

I like the smell of e85 but wouldn't say it is that noticeable unless in a garage. You can make plenty of power and stock exhaust. May guess the 170 isn't any different then a hellcat exhaust
I get that but sounds like a tuner issue. For everyone that has not had that issue tells me it can be done. I thought there was an issue years ago when someone told me his cats melted. Car never ran right and it was a tuner issue

Not sure your goals but a super stock with that pulley combo is no joke as far as power. It’ll easily be a low 9 second car with a chance of 8s depending on your elevation.

That's exactly my goal, capable of 8.99 in decent conditions...
With that being said, how much am I leaving on the table for running stock catted mid pipe with upper/lower pulley combo instead of going with catless mids?
For the hassle. Not entirely worth it when you're capable of doing so as it sits.
Now. Sound-wise...you're leaving a lot on the table. I did a back to back to back of factory vs catless only vs catback only and catless won by a mile.
