Well it's been a fun 5 years. 3 Hellcats and lots of thrills. I've been a Mopar guy for most of my life, but my super-impulsive self has decided it's time for a change. Going smaller, lighter (possibly M2 or TTRS).

I've made many friends on this site (and the "other"one). I'll be listing some items in the FS section (already listed my catch can). Some items will be too cost-prohibitive to ship because of their weight but any local Las Vegas guys may be interested.

It's been a blast guys. Enjoy your awesome machines.

Joe

Sorry to hear your HC's on the block, but I'm sure you know what's best for you. The site and friends are still here, with or without your HC.

I just returned to the HC platform after a hiatus. Many vehicles after the HC.... but i'm back. Nothing compares. You will return! Have fun playing with the other cars, variety is the spice.

See, no one else is going to love you like we do, you better stick around, then you're going to start to wonder about giving up the HC...

Well the deal is done. 2020 M2 Competition now sits in my garage. My first BMW or non-domestic car period.
Things I like:
-Car goes around corners like it's on tracks.
-Twin turbos have no lag that I can detect
-Killer sound system stock
-All M cars come with a free 1200 mile "Run in service." At 1200 miles all fluids are changed (oil, differential). This is a first for me with any vehicle.
-All M cars are test-driven at the factory with an extensive checklist, including things as simple as tracking straight on the freeway.
-3/36,000 of complimentary maintenance.
-4/50,000 bumper to bumper warranty
-Paint is perfect
-Interior very roomy and comfortable for a smaller car

Things I'm not too crazy about:
No oil dipstick. The car tells you oil level in the EVIC
-No engine temperature gauge.
-No boost gauge
-iDrive display complicated
-Almost everything is automated car will actually send a text to the dealership when service is required. BMW has basically taken the wrench out of the owner's hand
Overall I'm pretty satisfied so far. Overall quality is really good (it better be for $65k).

Maybe. I'm about impulsive as they come. That's why I don't buy extended warranties. This is only my weekend toy as was the Hellcat. My Silverado is my DD

Thanks! I'm not going anywhere. I'm an old retired cop with lots of time on my hands to look at forums all day :)

Beautiful car! How is the straight line performance compared to the Hellcat?
