It’s just dawned on me. So I installed brand new cooler lines with thermostatic bypass valve, pulled the cooler/supercharger heat exhanger to clean it out of atf when I did the transmission. When I did the fill procedure, I did it between the recommended temps. At the track, hot lapping the car and due to the g forces, the car has been having 1-2 and 2-3 shift issues, bad enough where the 2-3 shift just didn’t even happen the one pass. If your system is dry and you do the refill procedure per the factory’s temps, the thermostatic bypass valve for the cooler won’t be open, which means you’re running the transmission low (or in my case extremely low!). The stock thermostatic bypass valve doesn’t open up until almost 180 degrees!!! Max temp for the fill procedure is 122!!
