I personally like the deep sound of magnaflow, and the nice rumble of borla.

I considered a full blown cat back. I had an x pipe Zoomers on my last SRT and loved the sound.

On my HC, I decided to experiment, based on feedback I read on other forums. The Vibrant 1794 12" stainless glass packs were only $50 each and just what the doctor ordered.

After about a month of driving, they really settled in, with a great low rumble, at idle, a mild growl at cruise and an insane roar at wot.

No drone, at all.

I replaced my mufflers, with the 1794's and left the resonators, at the tips.

Pretty amazing...

Run the stainless works on the charger. Sits a tad lower than the stock but really happy with it.

I am ordering the 1794's today from all the research I've done these seem to be the best. I will leave resonators on as well. Had the Mid Muffler delete only on my Scat and was not crazy about the sound it was okay but I like many did not like the raspy sound at top end, also at idle sounded a little like a tractor.

How do you like it? I read here I think it takes a couple hundred miles for them to really wake up but that they are louder right off the bat too. Mine are arriving tomorrow and will be installed this Friday. :)

They're great and yes they do get louder after a few weeks of driving.

Stock is perfect for me on this car. On my old RT I liked Solo or Magnaflow.

I agree with many of the earlier posts. You can't go wrong with the Vibrants.

How is OTHER holding up in the poll?[cheers]

So you guys are going for even louder? I was out with it last night and it just yells out stock. At the track everyone said it was the loudest. What is kool about it and not about other cars is that it does make lots of noise, and it does haul ass. Several others make noise and don't move.

Agree, never understood why someone would spend money to make the car louder than it already is. At that point they get a bit obnoxious IMO and you don't gain any performance to boot.

One could say the same about a CAI for these cars too. Little to no performance gain and louder blower whine but people love them.

True, and why I've yet to install a CAI, although HPINDY had some interesting results with an LMI at the track last weekend if you haven't seen that.

I love the flowmaster sound . But it's at the end of my mod list due to the cost VS gains . Heck I didn't think a CAI would do much either but......
