My I/C temp was at 123 degrees while idling with the A/C on for about 15 mins. It was 74 degrees out. Once I killed the A/C, it dropped to 116-118. IAT's were at 150, Coolant temps at 185. These numbers seem normal? When Im going down the highway the I/C temp is usually around 10-15 degrees over outside temps. Yes I do have a 180 t-stat as well. Thanks!

My car sitting in stop and go traffic when its 74-75 outside coolant climbs to 220-221 after few minutes then I hear the high speed fan kick on.. if I am rolling slowly in traffic say 10-20mph coolant hovers around 212-215. Once moving around 45-50mph it drops down to 203/205. IC temp I have not kept a very close eye on but seems close to whats posted above. I was not running the AC

Sorry....I just can’t help myself. I have one of the FI Interchillers installed. I also have a big Whipple supercharger that makes a lot more heat than the stock SC. If anybody is wondering exactly what one of those things do..... here’s my IC and IAT after idling for 30 minutes in the afternoon Phoenix heat in back of the shop (check that outside air temp!). 1A1D86B1-B372-47CB-9EF0-5DE71CB798A9.jpeg

Wow. Get a 180 deg t-stat in that thing. My ECT never goes over 192 sitting in traffic and 185 driving in 100 degree F.

Editing my post from earlier after doing more research my fans and operating temps are normal given the conditions I drive in. I may eventually switch to 180 deg t stat but I also drive in some pretty cold weather in the fall and in morning so for now leaving the stock one.

I am glad you have your mods posted in your signature with those temps.

No problem Marc. I have the FI interchiller as well, just not installed yet. Bought it during the group buy... damn impulse buying.

I will be curious to see how my temps are after install though.

Thanks for the earlier response as well Speedy. I had the 180 t stat installed and just wanted to double check my numbers.

I wonder if it has something to do with the tune we found my car has that I discovered.. I guess I will find out Friday once the PCM is reflashed back to stock. Whats interesting on your comment is these temps really did not surprise me much as I figured with the blower things would run hotter than my Scat pack coolant-wise. My oil temps because of the oil cooler the Hellcat has run a lot lower than what I used to see on my Scat...It was not uncommon in my Scat pack for oil temps to be in the 210- 220's even while cruising along at speed for any given time.
Could be but normally a custom tuned car would have a 180 tstat with a fan adjustment. On a stock 203 tstat which is obviously in your car the fans would run wide open most of the time. I didn't watch too close stock on ect temps but I'd get someone with a stock car to chime in. Based on my 180 a 10 degree swing would be normal.

Yea I just edited my post above ..did some more digging and my temps appear to be normal from the other folks that have posted on the other SRT forum
