Gas cap light and choking of engine on full throttle

Ever since I got this light on my dash when I put the pedal to the metal it makes the engine cough and die. It does not stall. Are these two items related? Now that I’m thinking of it I have 5 gallon e85 canisters in my garage. I filled her up a few days ago where the e85 was coming out of the neck. By the neck is the evap system. I bet I filled the evap system with e85 and not vapors. So when I put the pedal to the metal it is probably flooding the engine?

I didn't even know we HAD a gas cap light...

Now I'm going to go key through my ignition sequence and see if that isn't something new....

Ok, so not a "light" but a "graphic", and it doesn't show up on the Start sequence, so I guess I don't feel quite as stupid... (but still mostly...)

It is ok. I never knew I had it either. But Tony the service manager at Chrysler jeep thinks that is what I did. He states it happens on the grand Cherokee all the time when people keep clicking the fuel handle to get every drop they can put in their tank. I think it is not the fuel cap. But what I just stated. I will know Tuesday.

I thought maybe something was being tried as an experiment or the jug slipped or something. For what its worth, I think you're right, the vapor evacuation system is probably throwing a flag and causing havoc.

Well,, como estad es she said. You have to have a broken neck and wear a fe male brace for 3 months to under stand. I didn't do the brace but I did do the double DDs' at the bar to make it feel better. Sum times the fee male race do not get it. Not to take the thinking process away butt does she drive a Hell Cat?? My last 6's didn't either. Only dude I let drive mine is my 4 legged cat. He is much better. Hello to the wifiey and I am glad she does not understand or I wood be lost. I am lost with in the mindless system of myself.
