In the late 70's, early 80's, I used to run a Moroso octane booster that had tetra ethyl lead in it. I used goggles and heavy rubber gloves when adding it to pump gas. Worked like a champ.
Which could explain why I have dain bramage.

I use 1 can per tank of 93 with ZERO issues on 2 vehicles hellcat types and the 16 is still running just fine with 50k + on the clock

I use 1 can per tank of 93 with ZERO issues on 2 vehicles hellcat types and the 16 is still running just fine with 50k + on the clock
What size can? I use the Boostane 4 oz shot cans.

There ya go. Wonder what the ppm is vs adding some additive. Mike's pics don't lie that 32oz in 18 gallons caked up the exhaust valves.
Yep, it's the amount used that's the biggest problem, maybe over time it can build up on valves anyway but 32oz per tank is excessive. I use 2oz to 8 gals. to go from 93 > 97 octane & don't notice any orange on exhaust tips, have not had the plugs out yet to see there.

I use the 32 oz professional yeah a little much but I never worry about detonation.
it works out to be around a good solid 99 to 100 on a good full tank of 93 and that is never definite while I travel.
