Chapman was great when I ordered back in December but they slashed their discounts due to quite a few bad apples.

I'll be picking up my trx from there in the next week or so. Nothing but good things to say about the experience however.

They did f*ck up my tax on my contract and made me re-sign a new paper. Everything else was great.

By bad apples, what do you mean? You mean they had customers screw them over somehow? Manufacturer could not deliver car as promised?

The dealer who sold me my Demon has me in their system and pings me every 6 months or so. Thoughts on this deal?

MSRP -2K (~84K) for a RedEye (frostbite). Seems ok but not outstanding. I said Invoice and maybe we can talk. What are others getting for '22 RE?

The thing we are all forgetting is that these cars will VERY SOON become dinosaurs never to be purchased again new. My Z06 is the next one for me but that's probably 1-1.5 yrs from now. Maybe get this and flipety do dah after a year of fun?

My local dealer just got like 7 redeyes in! They are all regular-body cars with no stripes, both blues, a red, gray, black, white...they are all very close to $85k with $1000 factory rebates on them. I am going in for service today, on the last day of the month...hmmmm......

I do like the new leather-lined dash. Otherwise they could be 2019s and you wouldn't know.

No, people were ordering cars to flip. When a dealer sells a vehicle and leases/finances it there's a 3 month period where if the new car owner goes and flips the vehicle or sells it elsewhere the dealer gets hit with a chargeback by the manufacturer/financing company.

People were flipping everything, 4xe's, 392s, trx's, etc etc

Yeah they did well for me also, I'm picking up the trx in the next few days. These guys play it fast and loose with contracts though, I have never seen ccap kick back so many contracts.... have buddies that ordered and took delivery of various cars through them as well.

I didn't finish my thought lol, but anyway.....

You can't order a widebody, widebody redeye or superstock at the moment and who knows what kind of bs adm comes with '23 orders.

Widebody is a plus on the street and a negative on the track (if you are really modding and going for better times)

Personally I don't mod my cars like that because they are already ungodly fast... even the base hellcat, so if I were to order a car for cruising, occasional track time, and highway runs then it would definitely be a widebody redeye.

Best for mods/bang for buck = narrow body redeye

Best stock - widebody redeye

Best for track only on light mods - super stock

Crazy where prices have gone since I bought my 2016 HC, as a carryover, in 2017. Sold that one a few years ago and now looking at picking up another and realize pricing is what it is now.
