Forced Uconnect Update *&$!#*(&$_#_&*!

Once again Uconnect is trying to force an update on my system with ZERO explanation on what or why they are tampering with it.
As with the last update, I get the stupid screen demanding I schedule it and they have disabled Nav and all Media/Radio functions.

Website says my system is up-to-date - getting sick & tired of these fuckers hijacking the system & forcing compliance with their updates especially since they frequently jack something up that was previously working.

Anyone else getting this message or know what this update is about ??

I got it on the Redeye today. Updated and no issues so far.

'19 DSRT got one of those about a week ago or so... Radio gave zero options other than to acknowledge and "allow" it to do its thing...

The alert on the radio gave a brief, mostly ambiguous explanation, but to your point was ultimately useless...

Can anyone snag the update for me. I used the tazer to kill the weather pop ups and now the radio hasn't updated in a while. I can even get xm radio to renew. I would like the new race setup screen. Thanks

The Charger got a notice. Couldn't do anything until I set a time. Went out next day and it said it was updated. First time ever since 18.

Assholes. Why can't they just leave a good thing alone. I still don't even understand what the Uconnect thing is anyway. I worry about it making changes to my car that I do not want. If it's anything like my computer, every time it does an update it changes everything and makes things worse than before.

When I got the car new the TV screen in the dash was fast to switch functions, but it's been getting slower and slower over the years. Is this due to the "updates"? Is there anyway we can reset everything back to factory defaults?

I get them. I let it update. I've never had an issue with three of these vehicles and the OTA updates. Nothing has ever been worse afterwards.

So my best time end of 2021 was 10.51. I did the cat recall and my best time at the end of 2022 was 9.12

The pos Uconnect system is one of the main reasons I sold my last Hellcat and bought a 14 GT500. The radio on the Mustang is pretty basic and you can get an upgrade with Carplay cheap. I think Uconnect is going to be a big problem once Dodge stops supporting it. Hopefully there is an aftermarket solution that develops.

I sold a Trackhawk and a '21 Challenger largely because of Uconnect issues.

But I would've gladly put up with those glitches over having a Furd.

Don't forget the last update that swapped IAT and Intercooler temp.
