Anyone done a triple pump system on the demon/redeye platform? I’m curious if the jet pump from fore is plug in play or if there is anything I need to get ahead of the project.

are you adding a 3rd fpcm or what? Only real difference between a hellcat triple setup and Redeye triple is the Redeye already has a 2nd fpcm, or so I thought

On a narrow body non redeye aka OG Hellcat, they give you the FC3 which is the fuel controller. The most common setup is on pump always on and pump 2/3 come on after 5psi when a hobbs switch is triggered. I know that @Speedy! and @RGPIII have a tripple FPCM setup where a relay is used to trigger power to pump 2 or 3 based on the load coming from the tapped FPCM 1 wire with a splitter (at least that's how I think it works).

When I was doing my setup I never had a jet pump sent to me @jonx96 what is this device you speak of?

With twin boost a pumps the tripples are good for at least 1700 whp on corn. Buddy made those with his TT setup. Love the fact that it isnt noisy and can support just about anything we can throw at it. Im guessing on C16 they are good for 2000 +.

Yep I got the 285s on all 3. Thing should have fuel after install. Went 10an feed line 8an return

My triple pump systems uses 3 FPCM each with it's own relay.

Pump 1 - factory relay in the fuse box
Pump 2 - add on relay in the harness
Pump 3 - add on relay in the harness

FPCM 1 is primary and 2 and 3 just mimic what it's doing fuel pressure wise. Seems to work well as far as I can tell.

My setup will be different than the tap drop in. Also a redeye requires the hellcat jet pump. So I have a new one. Idk what that will entail.

@jonx96 , have you pulled your pumps out yet? If no, check the passenger side pump bung and see how many wires are coming out of it. A 2018-19 RE system I had only had a fuel level sending unit on the passenger side, no pump what so ever over there. An item that looked like it could house something but it was just an empty shell that is connected to the twin pump system on the DS which looks like it pumps fuel over to that side not suck from it. I found it to be weird to understand how it works. I always thought there was a transfer pump on the passenger side but not on this system there wasn’t.

Yeah I'm curious why the RE needs the jet pump to go to an aftermarket system like the dual/triple drop ins. Interesting if the RE doesn't have a jet pump at all on the passenger side. I always thought that was required for fuel to flow.

There was no pump on the PS on this Redeyes system. When I took the main pump system apart to clean it and replace the filter it looks to have on one of the pumps a orfice that sucks fuel from that assembly on the PS and the other pump a orfice to return fuel to that side so I think it’s using the dual pumps to push and pull fuel from the PS of the tank. These check valves had fine screens in them that were fouled with lint and debris. Guy probably didn’t need new pumps, just needed to clean the existing filters and screens on his system!!
I know how to do this now and can offer a pump maintenance service if anyone is interested let me know. $100 plus shipping.
This was his pump filter before

I unfortunately didn’t take any pictures of the screens, they’re small only about 3/8” in diameter so not much area and easily blocked. As their intaking unfiltered fuel from the PS side pick up.
