You can’t get an accurate hp rating unless you take it all the way

on the dyno. You can plug the same data into virtual dyno, and guess what? After I plugged in DA and weight for virtual dyno, it was only off by 5whp

If you get on the dyno, data log with HPT and export the entire log and import into virtual dyno and plug in the conditions.

Virtual dyno, but you need to do a 4th/6th gear pull from 40mph until it readlines in that gear lol
Wallace Racing Calculators….. mph at the finish line is most accurate as the et is affected by starting line performance (60 ft) where as the mph is not. Density altitude affects hp and consequently on track performance, so these calculations are a picture of that time and condition. Not a one time shot like a dyno pull. 655DF604-2E59-4216-B2C9-C6D173612D6A.jpeg

I used this to calculate how fast I was going to run in the 1/4 before I took the car out and it was pretty accurate, I used their other calculator

Putting those numbers in for the blue car…. We saw 1400rwhp on the dyno at a 3000+ da. So at sea level (actually -200 on this run) the numbers come up as you would expect. 5291372B-F8BC-4E46-8D67-9C971341D82C.jpeg

Says my car makes between 848 and 905 at the wheels which checks out, but I made those passes at 2000 da 90 degrees out, so it’s probably on the higher side

That’s the “other” shop car. The blue widebody that runs 7’s. That’s with Nichole (our 115 lb driver). Mine weighs 4050 now with me in it. 63BC8D6C-830F-48DD-B45A-A426BE20EAD6.jpeg

I posted data from Wallace and some here told me it was crap. Seemed pretty close to me.

That’s a lot for an a8, which makes sense mine was a little bit more. They really did underrate the old ones. Mine was built March 2015
In May 2015 my first Hellcat which still exists and has less than 22k miles still, in a secret location in NM, has demonstrated it could be a freak too, it achieved 670 hp and a goofy 666 ft-lb, on a exterior dyno. A couple of others were tested that weekend and were 10-30 hp less. The DA was below 500’. A8.

There are definitely some "factory freaks" out there when it comes to HP
