I got my second offer in the mail yesterday to drive from Northern Kentucky to Detroit in my 2019 Red Eye so some testing outfit for the EPA can keep it for 5-6 weeks and do emissions testing on it. They'll put about 100 miles on it on a dynamometer replicating various driving conditions. I would put about 550 miles on my car to get there and back.

For this civic duty they will give me a rental car for the 5-6 weeks, with one full tank of gas
They will return my car (after my second trip in the rental car back up there) with a full tank of gas
I will get a check for $1,000.

I guess if I was a homeless person needing quick money for my drugs, and had a 2019 Challenger Hellcat Red Eye I was currently living in parked in Detroit, but could really go for a rental SUV to stretch out, I might go for this deal.

Is there no one nearer they can contact? Manufacturer already has to do tons of testing already... borrow cars from them.

I just got another one the other day. I think this is the 3rd or 4th I’ve gotten since I’ve had the car. I think the the first few they only offered $500. I just laugh and throw ‘em in the garbage. No way no how. Ain’t happening.

I got a letter too the other day...didn't want my car...just wanted me to deposit a check for 50g's in my account...and I only had to give them 10 grand up front...(easiest 40 g's I ever made...)
