If they do this and the car comes from the factory with this capability I guarantee you it will be hacked

There are several vehicles that get OTA updates, Tesla being one of them, but I haven’t heard of anyone hacking it yet. I think it’s too integrated to get away with, they always report back to the mothership.

The Scat Pack is already 5,800 lbs, add another electric motor, the Banshee will be at least 6,000 lbs. Tesla Model S Plaid is 4,800 lbs. The Banshee will need bare minimum 1,100 hp to beat it. I doubt the Banshee will have a top speed over 134 mph like the Scat Pack.

I regulary hit 118 in TRX and it got anoying real quick to have all that power and get passed by lil Durango 392's like I was standing still

There are those out there who have bypassed the top speed limiter on the TRX. In all honesty, 120mph is flying in a truck rolling on an A/T Mud Terrain type of tire. I’m kind of ok with my top speed in the TRX.

One that enables the extra features offered by Tesla? Weird, I haven’t been able to find it. They charge a hefty sum for autopilot, I can’t find anyone that’s been able to get it for free. It wouldn’t be unlike what Dodge would do with a 200hp tune, they’d sell it to you, monitor it, and remove it when the subscription expires. They would be more susceptible to that feature being hacked because they suck at software, worse than Tesla.

I think 130 mph would be rspectible if there was a safe enough off-road tire. You basically have baja power at your fingertips. I think 160ish would be a decent top speed for a street TRX with the proper tires.
