The guys on the other forum have convinced me to make up a batch of super magnet oil drain plugs, they fit all 6.2 engines. If anyone over here is interested PM me and I’ll put you on the list. They pull in particles from 6” away, keep ferrous hard debris out of your oil pump and bearings as even the best oil filters don’t catch everything, these do!! Even my blower lifting eyelet I dropped and couldn’t find, the magnet in the pan grabbed it!!

I have them on my car, great product!
So being my car is a 16 it had the threaded inserts in the cradle but to use the bigger bolts for the brace you have to drill them out. See where some of the metal shavings ended up on the outside of the magnet

I like it, any risk of the magnet ever coming loose?
only if you break it off which I highly doubt will happen once inside the pan. They are press fit about 3/8” into the plug with JB Weld on them. It’s a process to make each, unfortunately not a 5 minute job each, they are made with care like everything I do.

Yep, anything magnetic that gets near their field gets sucked into them. Grabbed this wrench out of my hand as was working on something else, KLINK and it hung there swinging back and forth like a watch pendulum

Every drain on both of my cars have them. Money well spent.

Hooooly shit Batman that has more gravitational pull than a Black Hole. Good size combination wrench stuck right into its gravitational orbit. Through the oil pan to boot

I was supposed to be at the NMCA Bowling Green this weekend, but after a BEAUTIFUL week, the rain moves in tonight. I'm pissed.

So, here's my first outing ...not setting any records but I'm pleased for first time out. Car's for sure the real deal.

Car's fast. Trapped 147-148MPH so I got a good one. I struggled foot braking with tire spin on TNT prep, so I tried the trans brake and it's a game changer. Pulled 300 ft/lbs and it hooked and booked. Knowing I can tune the car for conditions was a HUGE relief, similar to GoManGo but this one I can do it on the fly in the staging lanes. Sweet. Drove about 200 miles round trip to the track and back.

Now to work on the 60'. If I get that dialed I'm golden. @DRAGRCR if you have tips to share I'm all ears. My typical track conditions will be minimal prep and 1500+ DA.

Passenger side tire seems good. Driver side moved over 12 inches on the rim. I've gotten it re-glued so hopefully solved.

I'm shocked it ran so well with such a slow 60'. PB achievement badge. Car in the right lane was a full on race truck and he beat me by a car. If only I had a 60'.

I was just going to ask if you made some passes today. The 60 ft will be where the time is. I ran a couple of weeks ago leaving soft with 1.41 60 ft in the 9.4 at 147 so about the same as you. Da for me was better but the barometer was pure junk in the 29.7s. Congrats on the 1st passes good luck tomorrow. You will get 1 time pass before your 3 run average passes

Watched the video and see this was not today. Sucks if they got rained out for the weekend

Nice! good numbers. Glad you got chance to finally get after it. Great opening #ers. Only 1160 miles here by 1500 mi, DA will suck in N.E. By that time. Going to N.E. Dragway with bro this weekend. Top fuel in town. Wish I had the 1500 on clock to run early for run what ya brung before the big guns roll onto track later in day.

Looks like they are running right now. Surprised you didn't go today, you would have got 2-3 passes and got your 9 second license

1160 miles for the 170 is 1500. Thought all knew that. I may run the RE not sure the MT 325/50R17 are very thin. Will inspect before heading up. Worked today & only time for one day to go this weekend.

There is no substitute to seeing you giggling like a 10 yr old at then end of the runs. GMG getting stolen was a terrible thing but you gotta love a happy ending to the story
