Do you have an aftermarket driveshaft? If not, then none. Only needed for u joint driveshafts

Yes, I have the DSS 4". "Only needed for u joint driveshafts " Can you elaborate on that? For safety reasons and sanctioning body rules, a DS safety loop is required on all vehicles with a DS over a certain MPH. But, I am new to this platform so I am willing to learn!

I had 1 that fit both stock and the 4" DSS. Always run a driveshaft loop if you're doing more than just street driving.

I looked up the part and from what I could find, it doesn't specify a model/transmission and DS size..

that's the same one I have, brand was "S&M Performance" at the time, although I am not sure who actually manufactured them; got mine from HHP also. I see they still have a FB page - might be worth an inquiry...

What I don't understand about these DS loops is it only protects the first 6 inches of breakage. On other vehicles I have had (older school), the loop was put about 18" behind the input of the transmission...

They located so closely because technically the loop has to be within the first so many inches of the first U-joint.

I run the S&M and it clears my Texas Speed headers and solo performance exhaust with a CCI 4-inch aluminum drive shaft without issue.
