FS92 instead, I've never been a fan of the 1911's blade trigger :censored:

Not only do I not like the blade trigger, I've never cared for the fit in my hand either, and I've got large hands too.

Just opinion though, obviously many love them.

Probably the same people that like Glocks...

Zero.

Cars don't make me happy, and more definitely isn't better (been there, done that). Happiness comes from people, not possessions. I'd take hugs from my kids over any car if I had to choose. The pleasure you derive from a car is temporary and fleeting - hell, if my garage burst into flames I'd just shrug it off and move on with my life. This is why the PPF/ceramic coat/zero miles types have it so very wrong... do you bubble wrap everything in your life?

Cars are a mechanism to fun, not a transcendent purpose. The meaning of life is making life better for those around you - and if you can use a car to enhance that, great, - if not, it is irrational to provide them with any real merit in your existential world.
ZERO????….C'mon Head man...now I'm not gonna get into testimonials bout the value of family...I get it..(and have the the greatest)...and if cars don't make you happy..(your words..not mine)..make sure you pass on those time slips to us of you and that Ben Hur style chariot and plow horse at the Drags this summer....(said with the utmost respect and admiration)..;)

7 Henrys, good man and good question. I love my Glocks more than your wife. I don't know your wife like I know my Glocks. I am sure she is nice and so are my Glocks. Ammo has a lot to do with the reaction you receive from the ones you love. Maybe you didn't have enough to go around. Buy another gun and move with no forwarding address. Kinda like,, I think 3 times ago when I went to jail for carrying an assault 12 gauge riot shot gun down the street to force a point with a neighbor,,,. When I was at 3 day camp, live in to be ex had the cops pick up all the fire arms and take em away. Not good. Kinda difficult to beg for your AK 47 amonst other items the cops wood luv to have. 2 of us and 6 duffle bags later we retrieved them all. They never went back to that house, or me. Fixin to move again, collect my guns, most, knife collection, wine collection, gold medal pornos and 5,000 round of ammo. Be a good score, if I can pull it off. With out the cops and more jail time.

I have to disagree with you on the Glock. It is ugly and cheap looking. but it is actually very reliable, functions flawlessly. like an AK 47.It has no hammer or manual safety to be worried about in a gun fight. It's light weight and mine holds 14 rounds of very deadly .357 SIG that I can put in a 3" circle at 30 feet. Hand guns are like cars. It all depends on what you are going to do with it. Hunt/shoot paper/defend yourself or others.

Stonester I have the whole set of what they called the plastic series. From the 22 thru 38, 9mm, 2, 40, 45, 357, and a few others. They are all great, but none shot. Like women, rent and test 1st, or other way around. S & W can't go bad a few 45 autos from Australia from ww2, of course the Henerys, Mossberg's, AKs, more 45s and 357s. Have not seen them in 2 years so hard to remember em all except a couple revolvers I have around here. I do have a 1897 revolver I got for X mas 1 year from a gun buddy. But I would say, 80% of my collection have not been fired for $$$ reasons. I would rather go to the range and use their's and let them clean em up. pain in the ass. Now to bed and contemplate the range. They have indoor autos and clean em .

I’m pretty happy with the current fleet in my garage, but if money wasn’t an issue, and have a shop just for Hellcats (Challenger, Charger, Demon, Trackhawk, and TRX).

The shop would look something like this:
I had not seen this thread for a while. I had not watched that video for quite a while either. It is a good one. That is one nice 'hood, up at BIR, fairly high rent, but really convenient if you like cars, fishing, golfing, and beautiful summer weather. In the winter you have to like ice fishing and snow mobiles. If a guy wants to keep a home in MN, that area right there is a great spot.

You guys can get an idea of how long that straight becomes for the "Donnybrook" configuration at BIR is when we use the road course from that video when they are outside. See why it could favor a Hellcat?

Jed was a great driver himself and was one who appreciated the many cars he had to choose from. He would often drive on the Performance School days with one of the Lambo's, and do it well. Unfortunately we lost him in an accident in the water late in '18. Good memories! RIP Jed.

I am just saying I can transition to doing other (more meaningful?) things in my life. I love fast cars, I just don't need fun cars. Watching my oldest play hockey is my newest passion. She scored four goals in her first game (her first goal came on her first shift), and she just played in front of 5000 people on Saturday during an intermission scrimmage at an OHL game. That shit is surreal.

Are the cars going anywhere? Hell no.

Its funny...Iv'e been a customer of Buffalo Harley since 1977...other than inspections..they balk at even oil changes on brand X bikes...Big John makes an exception in my case..saves me the trouble of goin from dealer to dealer..American Iron horse..Big Dog.. Ducati..Triumph..Buell..Honda..Yamaha..Aprillia..Moto Guzzi even Can Am...he does em all for me..Yup Even the Harley's...Hell I should just hire you this spring to do it..lol
I was volunteering to ride with you not actually turn wrenches;)... but now that you mention it, after I'm done draining your rides, I'll have enough oil for my fleet for years to come!
My plan it to get mine off of the lift this spring and put some miles on it. My brother's iron head went to the shop because he decided he wanted more than just an oil pump, so we'll let the other guy handle the transmission while he is at it - so the V8 bike is back into the air.

2, one for the weekend, the other for a daily commute. Anything else will just be collecting dust and taking up space.

My car related happiness isn't about how many cars I have. It's about the car I currently have and how I'm using it.

Funny you mention the V8 bike...while in Sturgis I was one click away from buying an offering from V8 choppers...They owner of the company and I took a couple out for a ride..I never thought a rigid could ride so smooth...I just couldn't pull the trigger on a 75k motorcycle...but man I was close

Stan is the man. Makes one of the more beautiful bikes on the planet. I'll never own a rigid again, but if I could incorporate the soft tail design I have on mine into one of his bikes, it would be the perfect ride for me. I've never had an opportunity to ride one, but if I make it to Bike week or Sturgis next year, I'll seek him out and go for a spin.

My current state of happiness---- 9 vehicles, 1 motorcycle, and 2 airplanes. I am very happy with what I have, but would be happier with more of course! I do have a car addiction, and have been thinking of Checking into the Henry Ford clinic for professional help with my condition. My unicorns for true toy happiness would be adding a TBM 940 and 1948 Tucker to the list, but I also would need around $8M to get both, so never going to happen:cry:.

For me it is just 1 car plus my daily driver. If I get bored with the 1 car I suppose I would sell it off and get something else....I think those collections are cool as hell like Leno has, but I don't know maintaining that collection is a full time job and can you really actually just go out and enjoy every one of those cars on a regular basis? I suppose if you are super wealthy and also retired you might be able to do that...I have never considered that scenario though because that is certainly not the boat I am in. Maybe someday when I can afford another car or two I could see what that is like and then report back lol
