Why 6 hours to fix that?

He had to take everything apart and redo what I did. I'm also counting the test drive and code clearing in that timeframe. It probably took around 4 hours to complete the job if you know what you're doing.

I have had mine on and off 4 times. I got it down to about an hour install. Definitely worth it with or without a tune.

Any horror stories on this, are people pinning the crank with it? I think I'm about to pull the trigger

Put mine on Tuesday night. Took about 6hours. Thanks @Speedy! for your videos on crank pinning! I don't like the new spec of 200Nm + 150Deg. It is very hard without a torque wrench that does degrees. With the sleeve on, and using a mirror you can just barely see/mark the bolt. My best guess is I did a tad over 150deg and it clicked at 300nm. The car is running great and I'm waiting on the tune from Curt.

Right after I put it on I did a short bast and hit 13psi. That was enough for me cause I was dog tired. Today I’ve been doing data logging for the tune have been advised no wot yet lol. As soon as I can really hit it I’ll post up.

If you are going to tune the car with it, why didn't you just go with a traditional pulley upgrade mod? I know that route is a little more work and money, but I thought the beauty of this lower crank sleeve was that you just keep the stock tune, but the trade off is not knowing if you are doing long term damage by locking all the pieces in place around that lower pulley. I will fully admit that I don't know a lot about modding Hellcats right now...

There aren't any shops close to me that I trust so decided to start small and do the work myself. Not quite comfortable doing the upper by myself YET. As you mentioned this is less expensive where I wasn't wanting to spend a whole lot. I feel I can get more out of it and safer with the tune. I'm also out of warranty so don't care about that.

I've been doing some hard 4th gear pulls 1500 to 6250+ rpm and were finding that I'm maxing out the fuel pump. Its very close on the injectors, so he wants to bump fuel pressure to give some headroom. Ordered a JMS BAP and we'll go from there..

Have you been able to see how many psi it makes now? I mean it should only be about 14 right? Crazy to think the stock fuel system runs out there on regular Hellcats.

So far just under 14. The max for a 2015 is 11.6 so yes I am getting the advertised 2 psi. As far as the fuel, we are pushing it hard (4th gear, 6250+ rpm 140+ mph) to get to that point, it's not during normal driving conditions and you cant tell unless you see the logs. I have heard older HC's fuel pumps can weaken over time. It was recommend to go with BAP over a new fuel pump as the problem could return.

This is my concern with guys running the incognito(or a 3.17 litens, iw or ati lower) on an otherwise stock car. Your car ran out of pump and then maxed the injectors at 5300 rpm. Well below the stock rev limiter or shift points. Had you of been running that setup untuned and not logging it you would have never known. The stock tune, injectors, fuel pump etc are all designed around the stock boost level. When you increase it there are a ton of variables to take into account. Most lower only cars I see now max the injectors in good air and we have to bump fuel pressure, so a lot of these cars they are adding boost to and not tuning are probably maxing the injectors and the owner never knows it. This is why we have never advocated for any of these boost adding mods that supposedly don't require tuning.

Makes 14.4 psi before it starts dumping boost due to hitting the injector max pw. It seems as these ti pumps age they're having trouble maintaining the flow they did when new. When we first started doing 2.85 uppers on hellcats we never had to do anything with the fuel systems, now more and more the pump gas setups are requiring boost a pumps.

Thanks I think that clears up a lot
