32, 12, and up to 5gpm filters. We got something for everyone! We originally were just gonna do one size but after hearing from yall we took all the cool stuff about our 12gpm filters and made a 32 and also a smaller size!
Always wondered how dirty gas was. I sumped a gas tank once and there was dirt inside the tank. Decent amount, like half a teaspoon. I try and buy from sunoco

it's not that clean. it gets moved from tank to tank and transported in a variety of ways. E85 has a fine residue of corn in it, especially from the pump.

How do know this? You have seen corn residue in fuel? Is that cloudy, or are there fine particles in it or what? Because at least two of the final processes for making ethanol are distillation you know??

From information that I've read, ethanol contains very fine particulates. I posted this for people who might be interested in knowing that Motion now carries them.
I can't figure out why Doug Cook would take the time and money to sell these if there wasn't a need?
Zero. I’ve been in my tank 6-7 times and have emptied it from a harbor freight battery fluid transfer pump straight out of the tank and from the fuel rail. There were 2-3 grains of plastic or rocks probably from actually filling the car, way too big to make it past the socks.
Zero residue, tank is brand new inside after 10 years, 60k miles, e85 for 40 of them and sitting with e85 in the tank/rails. Rails/lines and injectors also clean. E85 residue/slime in the fuel system is a myth

I will ask around up here in ethanol country. Some folks live on it. Standard says it must be clear. Any visual fine particulates would stress me. I last used it in my former Chev flex fuel SUV but before that my 2006 300SRT was programmed for E-85 so I could switch my fuel, it was fun. I have never seen anything but clear and very clean ethanol fuel up here. I am going to get my Cat optioned with it this year so I am paying attention again.

The ethanol people up here have an old video. They run a “normal” engine on it for like 100k miles in an SUV. Then rip the engine, and I mean everything apart to have a look. Amazing! Clean everywhere just like you describe. Gas engine parts discoloration etc. is night and day compared to it.
Personally, when I went with the double pump drop in from HHP, a filter upgrade was offered. I decided that it was worth the extra safety since I had everything needed to run E85 except bigger injectors.
I'm not stating that you need or must run any type of fuel filter. In this life you need to make your own choices.
