The difference in my kit to others could've been in just purchase timing or installation method. If you ordered on BF2023 you probably have those parts. Mine was late 2022/early 2023. Sumit hooked me up with new line, clamps, Owings, etc and the hard line to the compressor for $100 shipped to fix me up and get the clearance I need. Arrived in like 2 days.

I bought my kit in November with the black friday sale. I have not yet installed it but from what I am reading here there is some type of revision available for it? What does it consist of and how can I get the parts?
I spoke to a hot rod shop today who is interested in taking on the installation with the hopes of getting other referrals to him in the future. I am logged into my account on the ICchiller.com account but cannot pull up the installation instructions....nothing happens when I push the button for it. He would like to see them before attempting an install.
Email them and ask for the install instructions, they respond quickly

Your thread is what inspired me to bite the bullit on the IC Chiller and goong with the 3 way bypass
@uncrnps hooked up a good price for black Friday. One of the few parts I bought new. Most of my car has been built with parts bought used off of here or fb groups lol.

Been sitting on it for months thinking I was going to attempt DIY. Ultimately decided the install was over my mechanical abilities so @hellno is getting it done for me, along with his badass full tilt trans.

Can't wait to get it back because your results have been very impressive.
Where is hellno located?

Yes, mine was November 23. Great black friday sale! I PMd him and it sounds like he is good at getting back to customers.

Yes 2 different things. Drag valve shuts off cabin ac. 3 way valve bypasses the heat exc. I use the 3 way vale in my system. When its hot in summer time it was taking a while to cool the cabin. I have 2 drag valves on mine, one works with the 3 way valve. If I use the heat exc it will shut off the chiller system. Once my cabin is cold I turn on the chiller and everything works great. Also in the winter time I rarely use the chiller. I over complicated my system but I like my ac ice cold.
Really interested in this setup!!! I'm concerned of a worst-case scenario of poor cabin a/c on a typical hot and muggy Houston day in stop-an-go traffic. Would the additional refrigerant charge result in higher operating pressures when the chiller refrigerant valve is closed?

I was even thinking about setting up my 3-way valve to bypass the chiller fully when using the factory exchanger, but concerned the chiller would freeze up?

No as the freon is locked in the chiller side. Mine would run around 58-60 on a hot Florida day, I was use to it blowing in the 43-44 range.

Chiller will not freeze up unless you are running straight water in the system.

I have done seen 2 different ways to plumb the 3 way valve....which is the best way or is there a best? Or is it just a matter of choice? I will be using the aux. tank and my car is a street and track car.

There's more than 2 ways to do it...
You have to ask yourself:
* what behavior do you want if/when something fails
* what behavior do you want to be the default (jump in, forget to throw any switches, and just drive)
* do you care how much plumbing you have to do? (some ways require running another line across)

Thats where I find my problem....shouldn't only one way? My car is street and track car but I want the chiller to do what it's intended to do.So what your saying is if something fails such as what? As far as the plumbing goes I'm willing to do what ever I need to for the best results with all things considered.

I’m in a hot climate, so I have my air on all the time, thus the chiller works all the time and the heat exhanger is bypassed by default. If it’s freezing cold out (never), I flip the switch to turn on the 3 way valve which flows the coolant through the heat exhanger and the chiller with the air off

I'm in the same state of mind as rookerrobert.

I'm going to plumb my setup the same way. It will either run through the oe exchanger OR the chiller. I don't think I'll do the refrigerant valve on the chiller side. Yet. My thought process is if I do need max a/c, I can put the 3-way to run only the oe exchanger. Since no coolant will be flowing through the chiller, it will reach superheat (or supercooling?) quickly, and start closing off the chiller txv, leaving more cooling power for cabin a/c. Chiller won't freeze over, so no worries of the chiller slugging the compressor? This is my sketch, adapted for trackhawk and no aux tank.
