Some had a "VIP" line item on the order. I'd assume Jay Leno, Goldberg, others and would think they got special handling. Wouldn't want them getting dirty cars, oil leaks, or blown engines, but who really knows. I've never been able to get a definitive answer on what it meant other than "special tracking".

I thought when the first models came out in 2015 the VON indicated a special order
Been a long time but I think a few famous people were seeing this but I m not sure

@Bowtie Guy this is a specific line item on the "Equipment Listing" order sheet it says "VIP Tracking". I asked on the FB group and was told certain cars got that line item. My order was one of them. I'm not sure if everyone got calls from SRT Concierge or not during the order process but I did. My car also showed up practically spotless. It didn't appear to have ever been out in the weather.

May have been nothing more than making sure there were no issues with delivery, I've never gotten a full answer on what it meant.

I am not certain. I did a driveshaft balance test at 2:30 AM on the 40 and the car nosed over as suddenly as if it hit the rev limiter. I had reset the top speed indicator and it read 152. But, and here is the big but, I was not in DRAG drive mode. I race a lot, but it is still hard to comprehend how fast these cars are.

I have seen posted that the car will allow a temporary overspeed in DRAG drive mode. I most likely will have your answer this fall or in January at the LONESTAR RIVALS event.

I am confused, I thought a fellow member told Tim K. about how your hellcat was stolen and Tim K. offered you a Demon170. Is this correct?

That's correct. He found an unclaimed allocation and assigned it to me. I got an email with a link to place the order. Window sticker says "Built for Speedy" on it.

Speedy, I am glad you purchased the car, as I have said in the past, your videos regarding the things that are being done to your 170 are outstanding.

BTW, I pulled the spark plugs on the driver's side of my 170 and they were all gapped between .033 and .037, which is wrong. The gap, as per the technical service bulletin (TSB) is .024. Please check the gap on your plugs.
