Small pulleys make boost for sure (i.e. 2.4, 2.5). But the guys who are running them are race gas or pure E85. At that point your pigeon holed to your fuel source and car pretty much becomes a dedicated race vehicle. Meaning, you cant really drive it any where but at arms length to a limited source. I'm eventually looking to go with a mildly smaller pulley (hoping the bigger RE blower keeps temps down) and a flex tune, that way I can travel anywhere and turn up the wick when I want. Even if I could get 25lbs out of it, I wouldn't want to do if I could only go 25mi. from my house. Just my personal choice.

@coolblue - For sure, the small pulleys are intended for race use... but there are plenty of people in this country that can DD on e85 without any fueling issues. A friend of mine is looking at buying a 500gal drum and having it filled by the fuel company when they come out to fill his diesel tanks. With the low fuel usage, some of the e85 tanks around here still have winter blend and probably will into next winter. That can be problematic, like you mentioned.

@hellno has been testing pulleys and ran faster on his larger pulley setup. Demonology also dyno tested some pulleys and again, the larger pulley made more power. I think 2.65 was the sweet spot with the right fuel, but don't quote me on that. I've lost track of what lower pulley they're running so that may be a factor.

So its all about the boost as far as pulley! i think 2.40 pulley maxed is like 21- 22 lbs? don't mean u have to use that.. just about finding that SWEET SPOT!!!! and having this form lets all learn... we will see.. i already kicking around some changes!!!

I was told they were switching to renegade RM109 curious what their thoughts are on how it compares to MS109.

No I know you do. I was saying what happens if you want to go on a road trip or a weekender or just a long day out cruzing and now you don't have access to good E85 (or any),or 109, or whatever. Can you drive the car on a 2.4 or 2.5 on kill mode with access to just 93?

I race mine on either renegade pro e85 or ignite 114
When I drive it on the street I only run my 3.10 upper flex tune my 2.65 w10percent lower is basically the same as a 2.5 upper stock lower but honestly I believe that set up causes blower failures in my opinion ( the ones that have holes in the hood from blower parts lol)

My 2.65 didn’t seem to help
2.5 spins a bit slower than 2.75/10
2.4 spins a tad faster than the 2.65/10

only real gain I saw going to 2.4 was more torque
