Hope some one answers durango srt ...when you put it into gear it doesn't take off you got to give it some gas,i know that sounds weird but it feels like a real loose converter is that normal..

Normal...I don't know, but mine is slow to engage into drive, and I DO NOT like it at all, and it also does as you describe as far as a seemingly loose converter. My Hellcat engages firmly into drive, and will roll more in gear with no pedal.

Mine also. Sometimes the RE is a bit slow too. But once either one is engaged all is well. I’m gentle with both of them while it happens. I busted too many trannys as a young dumb ass smacking auto’s into gear quickly.

Funny you mention that. Bought a new ‘24 Durango Hellcat and I thought it feels weird taking off in “Auto” mode. Almost like a “loose converter “ feel.
So I tried it in “Track” mode and that feels more like my Hellcat Challenger in “Auto” mode.

Kinda weird?
