What was your last "new" car purchase?

I have been reading the thread about the new Charger and what Chrysler has to offer these days and it got me wondering what was my last "new" car purchase and why? I didn't have a lot of brand new options (from Chrysler anyway) at the time and there are even less today...
When I say new, I mean something that was less than a few years old (say less than about 5 years old) when purchased. My last purchase was a 2016 Dodge Dart in 2021. The Dart is only a commuter, but it's been a fairly good car, considering everything.

The Challenger was my first and last new car purchase. There is nothing coming from any brand that even remotely has me excited to ever buy new again. Even with Hellcat power in the new Charger its still a hard pass for me. The looks of the car are just too much like every other lame new car, and I am sure it will be close to $100K with Hellcat power.

From now until I die its just back to collecting real cars. No more cars with tons of plastic, tv screens, and no real keys. The only cars that truly excite me all have steel bumpers and glass headlights. My Hellcat is neat for what it is, but my real interest has always been far more like fluid drive Desoto than Demon 170 type dreams.

Had a blast whipping one of those around the slalom at Radford but with red stripes. Wife wants one and tells me all the time nut i have too many other vehicles at the moment, plus I could not find one close, so she got her Wrangler to play with instead.

The things we do for our kids... got two girls and I would do anything for them !!
I Told each of my daughters I would help them buy a "new" car after school (co-signing for the loan), the first one bought a commuter car (a Mazda3), but the younger daughter decided she wanted an SRT8 Charger... What was I supposed to do? Lol
