Would like to hear your feedback after using that fluid in the M6!

Im running Mobile 1 Synthetic ATF and might try something new next Spring.
Will do. I’m excited to try it out. I was getting some intermittent creaking out of the rear going slow in parking lots turns, and the Amsoil plus friction modifier put that to bed.

FWIW, I just did Amsoil Severe Gear in the diff. It’s been quiet as a mouse with no additional FM. Love that squeeze bag.

I know it’s been awhile, but finally got to changing the trans fluid this afternoon. Gotta say the old fluid drained and looked pretty damn good for 25K miles. I don’t think the original owner changed it; the car CarFacts report reported all fluid changes but never a gear oil change.

Can’t say I noticed a “yuge” difference within the 20 miles I put on. It feels good, but I never really had problems to begin with. Trying to be somewhat objective; it felt great for what a Tremec is. The only quirk I get every now and then was when shifting into 2nd the first time when cold. Sometimes it felt like the 1-4 lockout was on, but would shift to 3rd fine. Didn’t get that this afternoon, but will continue to monitor.

Don’t have a Barton, but I’m completely fine with my stock setup (sans CDV).

Used the EZ pouches of Amsoil, but didn’t really help over the bottles this time. Doing the change on jackstands, the fluid transfer pump was a hell of a lot easier. Took all 4 qts, less some spillage before it dripped out.

Lastly, thanks to @16GoManGoHC2 for providing me those awesome magnetic drain plugs. They’re absolutely legit and well crafted. Feel much better those being in there as a safety net.
