Stock Fuel Rails, why they don’t keep up

Yes, I will be boring the adapter out tomorrow to 108 mm. They only put a few bolts in the lid, it has to come off to install something inside. I color scanned the instructions with the intent of posting them but the pdf is 75mb in size, can’t even email it .

If you can get it to me I have a business Google drive account I can share it from. I will see if I can allow you to upload tomorrow.

I ran across this forum entry this morning. Took me all day (off/on) to get through it. Sorry about your dog, really surprised I didn't see a picture of the new dog eating pizza. Can't wait to see how your Whipple improves things for you.

If you get a chance, take time to watch the rocket launch Monday morning. I've been working on that rocket for 6 years now. Can't wait to see it roar off on its mission.

No, these are original FI insulator plates but I can add spray bars to them, I can gun drill them end to end, someday. The bracket I will post pictures of where and how it goes, took me a bit to figure out how its intended mounting is.
I will locate the plates with dowels into the heads but not into the blower as there no holes for them nor screw holes to secure them to the bottom of the blower like is done on the IHI

Did the guys offer a valid reason why not to run the spacers? Do they have data to back it up? You have data supporting them with the IHI, I’d be surprised if the same benefits didn’t work with the Whipple.

No, McMaster lol, everything comes from McMaster lol. Nitrous outlet sells them but 3x the cost, they gave me the sizes needed to use with the spacers since I bought the 63$ with shipping bracket from them.

They said the intercooler works so well their not needed, but they run nitrous plates between blower and the heads, kind of the same if you ask me less the squeeze. I’m going to use them, and no, most likely not test without them, I gots ta know most everything but thats one I can do without proving even to myself, they have to be of help. So I won’t be changing my pass word either lol. 😆

You are being the guinea pig on the install. Why do you think I told you to skip the 2.7 and go with the whipple

I was planning on using the spacers also. You can feel a big difference between Jon and my blower being I have the spacers when the car is sitting

That bracket goes here, bracket bolts to the back of the water pump flange then the flange in the SC bolts to the other hole in the bracket.

You pay for convenience with McMaster, Most everything is always in stock and I can order it at 6:00 PM and it’s here tomorrow morning by 10 AM ups ground

^^^^^ Plus just about everything I have ever bought from them is Made in USA, often from vendors I was not familiar with. Means a lot to me, plus the quality is top notch. Prices - some things a little pricey, but a lot I think is more than reasonable - you get what you pay for. I also get stuff out of LA the next day if ordered early in the morning.

Here’s what needs cut out of the stock drivers side fuel rail mounting bracket, the instructions show this needing to be done as well.
