How did they go about on the intake tube? Is yours just for a 15/16 or did they make it to fit every model?

No idea, They asked questions of year and model of the car and then sent me what I would assume was the proper kit for such, I don’t know if there’s any differences in them or not I’m hoping to be able to use my stock JLT intake tube and airbox not the stuff they sent.

When I got cut short last night because I did not like the way the O-rings looked in my Insulator plates they look like they were compromised and either blowing through or getting air sucked in through some of them so I’m looking for a new O-rings today

You will have to look at the intake tube. I did see it asked but like the JLT is made to work with a few different year set ups

So last night in cleaning and inspecting my FI insulator plates before setting the blower in place I noticed some irregularities to the sealing orings around the ports, predominantly on the end cylinders, worst on cylinder 2 which had the darkest looked rich spark plugs. I think these are witness marks of boost blow through. I ordered new orings today that will be here tomorrow so setting blower in place won’t occur until Saturday AM at best. (Wife wants to go for dinner and drinks tomorrow night). So tonight I’ll get the coolant lines sorted, insulated, and wrapped and be all prepped for Saturday AM putting the icing on the cake.

Who would think you could spend 4 hours on insulating 2 coolant lines lol. Was tough getting that 7/8 ID foam over that over braid on the hoses but I didn’t want to take it off, I will give a air gap between the hose and the insulation ID and add a tad bit more insulating quality to it all.

It was easy to guess because that plug was clamped into your magnet maker.

I think @vortecd is on to something, probably something with the blower.

Vortecd guessed first so he’s the winner!!! Yes, it’s the blower drain plug! (No you didn’t win my blower lol)
I’m surprised it was not equipped with such, the IHI has 4 magnets in it, both fill and drain and also a circular ones in each bearing oil supply port and they even polarized them opposite of one another. IHI must have been concerned with metal getting into the bearings for sure, GREAT oil system in the IHI blower. Maybe some day I’ll see how Whipple is doing it. Maybe they have magnets some where in there. One of the reasons I like magnet so much is it gives you an idea if there’s any contamination going on (wear) because it collects the debris for inspection, then also it captures it to prevent it from doing any damage but it’s like instant oil analysis without sending it out.

11 lb pull little bugger in there, perfect to have equipped For initial break-in and running. Tomorrow morning hopefully have the blower on and it pretty much completed and then install the new fuel pumps and hopefully maybe do a test ride tomorrow. 🤞🤞
