No much on the Cat - basically what the Stage kit was suppose to deliver - t-stat, CAI, pulley, unlock pcm & HP Tuners device + tune (by Jon) - maybe more (pined crank?). Thinking about the head unit swap as well, not sure it's worth bothering with tho since all I ever use it for is the Performance Pages.

Durango - brakes, exhaust, LSD, t-stat, CAI. Then either Whipple kit or headers/plugs/6.4 intake/ported heads maybe mild cam kit. Again would need the unlock pcm & HP Tuners device + bypass cable + tune (by Jon). Whipple includes all that & their tune, would run that for a bit then get Jon to tweak it.

Really more focused on the 'Rango at this point.
I have a guy with a small regular repair shop who does my work now. He's a former SRT and Cummings lead tech at the local dealership.
He also does some performance work. Located in Port Orange.

Have to keep in mind e85 changes everything. I have 1650s and 295 pumps and around 6000 I was starting to lose pressure.

Having this much power stock is a blessing that many of us are happy with. Knowing how easy another 300hp is… makes it hard to not wanna push it a little.

Fuel pump change easy peasy, you can change both in about an hour start to finish. You have a tank bung tool? Makes the job MUCH easier. I posted in my Fuel Rails thread some pictures of how to do it. Hardest thing is getting the fuel connector off the pump set up working inside the tank and tanking the float off blind but it’s really not that bad. Be sure to have some thin section wrenches to get the tube nut off the bottom of the hat to get the fuel pump loose.
You replacing both or just the failed one?

We all have a different level of power which we are happy with. My '87 mustang went low 9s and I left it be. Part of me didn't want to put any more money into it. I owned that car for 19 years and it was low 9's the last 5 years or so and in the 9s 8 years after I bought it

Plan from the get go with the Hellcat was to go 9's. I was going to do it last year but decided to keep it stock for 2 years. I would like an 8 second pass but still not sure how much further I'm going to push. 1st and fore most is that it is a daily driver that I do not want to hate driving

No tank bung tool, but I do have a mallet and a big flat head screw driver  I'm replacing both pumps. I'll keep the good one as a spare and plan to disassemble the bad one to see if I can see anything that caused the failure.

What are thin section wrenches?

Wrenches with very thin sides.

Spend $20 on this and save yourself grief on the bung, this the tool I have.

While there if you don’t have this VP filler spout get one, they’re GREAT. Self vent from the tank into the jug, keeps humid air out of your jugs and tank.

Here ya go some pictures to help what you’re going to see. Your going to need 2 long 5 mm bolts to keep the hat top and bottom aligned properly, and make sure none of the orings fall out of the hat to base seal area 4E86A478-679C-4268-8D24-1AB77341E267.jpeg 9092C30B-D06B-438E-B389-6E2D8A28A302.jpeg 8E78D990-5D6C-4D70-93B6-865DDF765BE4.jpeg 39437211-F033-4B05-8A55-8051CEDD604C.jpeg 2760E04D-6DCD-44A3-B7A7-D7DC78F77892.jpeg D56D1C78-CA06-4FCD-A4EC-D3F488B91601.jpeg 0E42A0C0-5F83-42EF-B42C-3423E336ABFE.jpeg 4206FF08-C8BF-441A-B761-794C95F79053.jpeg 12B4741A-7963-46EF-AA44-53972F18F7D3.jpeg 1F4BC1DA-AE2E-4033-ACE1-FC1B32D4F591.jpeg

Hopefully all these help, tank a oil drain pan in with you and just put the assembly in it, do all your work in it, drain it and tank rebuilt assembly back in with you, no mess, no lingering gas smell.

Thanks for those pics. I didn't realize the pumps had c-clips holding them in, I'd have probably just tried to pull them out lol.

I went to these jugs a few years ago and never looked back. HIGHLY recommended.

Mine are Renegade branded but same same: https://amzn.to/3tMrUUp

Nice jugs no doubt, notice on the VP can the fill snout has a long blue hose sticking out one end, it goes inside the can and is the air vent to allow the can to empty fast and the can refills itself with fuel fumes being displaced out of the fuel tank with creates a vacuum like effect in the tank and sucks the fuel out of the can FAST and refills the can with fuel fumes from inside the fuel tank not surrounding air which on high humidity days carry’s moisture into your jugs, it’s why I like this setup better over their jugs. What I didn’t like about the VP jugs is where it’s vent is located fuel would at times drip from it on the car or rim when it was nearing empty and get fuel on your hands in closing it to stop such. The can also empties much quicker too with their fill spout, that’s why they call it their Power Snout, plus one doesn’t have to hold the 40 lb can up in the air as long, a BIG benefit for those of use that only lift 16 or so oz’s at a time any more lol. My experience with the 2 at least. Plus the cans are free lol, lots given away or found in the trash at the tracks and one only has to buy one filler tube for $20.

I use mine for fuel transfer from the can into the car.
Sounds like from the description they are not an approved fuel transport container?? “non-fuel” liquids
Maybe they make different varieties?
