Friday Friday😁. GT500 day and damn it’s been awhile like 3 months since I have driven her at least or more. Long day and lots of driving hit some nice speeds but for the most part laid low. Was in Va part of the day and that’s the worst state to get nailed speeding😳. Pretty cool as I was coming back in after 4 my daughter just got out of school and it was timed perfectly since I met her at Jersey Mike’s to get her a sandwich😁. The GT500 is just a whole different ride and noise in comparison to the Hellcats. She’s much more of a back road sports ride and sure she’s nice in open road but not like the Hellcats. The DCT trans is so funky and it’s truly a love or hate feeling since it slowly goes into gear and then slowly engages taking off. The 4 different exhaust options is really nice and too bad Dodge didn’t offer this. Quiet, Normal, Sport and Track. The track gives her that raspy exhaust note which it’s yeh you like it or don’t but she loud for sure. Fuel mileage sucks 😂 I filled her up leaving and by the time I got back in she was low and that was 200 mile day😁. I installed the Gurney Flap late last year and I swear that makes the car at bigger speeds funky in the back end. It’s like the back end walks around at a buck and 1/4 plus. I guess it’s all about the road course going into the hard corners pushing the back ass down but on straight line open road you can feel the downforce but it’s freaky.

Nice sounding drive you took CC. That Stang is a beauty!

I dropped just 27 trees today, not a lot compared to some days. Skidded them the short ways to the main trail with my Clydesdale, from there I will skid them the rest of the way with the JD. So all i have ridden today is a Raptor 700, and a horse, haven't left my property.

Quick wash today to take off some of the mud, it rarely gets a wash, is usually filthy. When i pop a wheelie, or drift it around corners, my daughter loves it and wants more. Took a little jump today, nothing big, maybe got 3' of air, she wanted me to go back and take it faster.

That’s great and lol back in the early 2000 decade I had the Kawasaki race 2 wheeler 700 and damn that thing would kick your ass. 90 mph machine and I was porky as shot LOL about 255 and that thing would wheelie and throw me off 😂

If i need awd or to go slow I use the wifes quad. When i want to just rip around I ride mine. She almost had a bad crash on mine, refused to ride it since.

Right my wife dumped my Polaris in a ditch one evening and never rode again. She was actually very lucky it did not flip and land on her😳 this is my Polaris 800 Sportsman back in 2010

Glad she was okay.

I never owned a quad until moving here in the country, then wanted a quad to rip on. Test drove about 10, they bored me. Got to ride a guys Raptor one day, 5 minutes on it and I knew what I was buying. Bought the daughter a 50 recently, and she calls it her Raptor...its not a raptor lol

CC is there a toy you don't own?

When my Charger gets here I will have 3 vehicles, almost feel guilty for then having 2 cars and a pickup.
You have about 90 cars, 30 suvs, and 20 pickups or something lol.

Yes I am jealous 😉🙃🤣

Usually rent a Zl1 convertible, base 911 or a C7 convertible from Hertz but was sold out in Orlando yesterday for a quick trip - murdered out 300C worked fine.
I've rented them on occasion..great cars...

Used my new mower last night, wish I had bought one of these years ago. It took a little bit of getting used to the controls but after a little time and no collateral damage I was able to get the job done much quicker and way more comfortable than my 25 year old Cub Cadet tractor.

As long as all that counts, I did polish off the yard yesterday afternoon with one of these also. I agree BIG TIME; Zero turn mowers are the chit.

Just got caught up on 7 pages… nice rides.
@Whatknot - I worked on a farm for almost 20 years, and we had about 20 clydes, 5 Belgians, and a couple quarter horses. They were all great. Reading your stories reminds me of working them in the fields and on the road. We ran a carriage company, so I was driving horses for weddings, and events, all over the place. My horse, Mark, was a monster like yours, one of the biggest in the state at 19 hands and 2200lbs.
Since this thread started I sold my Ford dually, 42’ toy hauler, and gave up the Hellcat… and now I drive a beater on occasion to Home Depot and back.
I usually have many many pictures of my vehicles, but this one is just a mode of transportation for me. It has the TT 3.5 Eco and I put a 5 Star tune on it. Raced a 392 Durango the other day and he dragged my ass.

Also, been riding my Cub Cadet lawn tractor since 1999… mowing in the summer and snow blowing in the winter. That one is on the left side of the random speaker pic… she is in snow mode there.

And then just for shits, an old pic of my TT225 dirt bike, MAX 6x6, and 1984 Trans Am.
