With the second picture being so close, I'm having a hard time seeing exactly where this hole is relative to a thermo blanket install. I ask because both my cars have the spacers and the thermo blanket installed.

Surprised more folks haven't swapped over to the Redeye fuel rails. Seems that hasn't become a thing yet, but on the other site a guy said he did and it works PNP so good news.

Any dealer can order them, or find someone that upgraded to a Whipple, Fore fuel rails, etc and buy them used.

They have sorta been on my "list" if I came across a set. Worked out they were on this supercharger.

My buddy and I tried to weld an AN fitting on the end of a spare Hellcat passenger side rail I had lying around. We never could get it to seal, bad weld job or something I guess. I had planned to use it for fuel transfers, but the schrader on these RE rails solves the problem.

Do they come in a set or singles? Diagram is not clear.

Jesse at SDG received the supercharger and has started analysis. He said so far he's found nothing wrong with the base but will pull the rear cover to check rear gear set/bearings. He asked if I still want to rebuild it saying he doesn't think it's going to need it. He also stated they can only be rebuilt 3 times so he tries to save that for when it's actually needed. Something about the rear discharge bearings can only be replaced 3 times. Interesting. He says he'll rebuild it anyway if that's what I want otherwise he'll refund the rebuild fee for the base. Says the snout needs work and he's gonna fix that up.

I don't mind spending the money on the base honestly, but don't wanna just throw $1000 away either. What do you guys think? I'm leaning toward telling him to go ahead since it's already there and I'd rather know 100% it's good before putting it back on the car.

If you have the cash and Ms. Speedy is in, get it done. :)

I would do the rebuild. You are putting better bearings in there I'm assuming? How many people have had theirs rebuilt twice let alone 3 times?

Yeah I'd likely never see enough miles to need it rebuilt again. I know for sure the snout gets upgraded bearings I'm going to confirm on the base. He didn't recommend hybrid ceramic bearings though as they're overkill for the money, his words.

A vote for rebuild, in large part because of the unknown history behind the unit.

I also don't think 3 rebuilds max is a problem, this is number one, right? MAYBE you do it a second time???

I was under the impression that there were 3 level of bearings: "Standard", "upgraded" and "Ceramic".

Damned if you do or don’t. If full rebuild you will always be tossing around idea of what else that 1k could have been used on.
where as if it did grenade with out full rebuild the damage could cost more. Rock and hard place. Decision if it were mine evaluate price break point with upgraded rebuild no pun here. Then figure out what a new one of same build would cost if still not upside down in the red go for it. Wish I had that choice 2 blowers ain’t a bad thing. What’s the rotor speed, pulley being used. Brings you back to if full rebuild with upgraded goods it will handle more robust speed/ performance Longer

Be interesting to see how @16GoManGoHC2 weighs in on it, probably most versed with it on this site.
