What does 40psi have to do with a Hellcat fuel system? It's either 80psi or 100psi for Hellcat or Redeye right? What am I missing?

I think most pumps are rated around 40 psi so just comparing 470 to 525

I believe that the 40psi is a standard that is used for comparing pumps...lot of ads use this as comparison.

@fumanchu182 I wonder if simply putting in a bigger injector would solve your fuel problems? I've lost track of what your fuel system consists of outside of the dual 285 fuel pumps. I just had a guy from the other forum send me a log of his car. It's a Hellcat with a Redeye blower worked over by SDG with all the goodies, snout, 2.72 Litens upper pulley, 10% lower. He was making 22psi of boost, 2,000 aircharge. His fuel pumps hit a high of 83% DC, injectors 80% on a full pull to 160mph. Says he's running FIC1200s and the Tapped dual pump system.

Also what is your fuel pressure set to in the tune? Factory 80psi?

i am running duals, pressure table is targeting 80 psi at that rpm range… moot point.

just threw caution to the wind. Ordered the L4 triple pump setup from HHP. Spoke with Josh Schwartz directly about what was going on and he says im right at that point where the triple is the only upgrade.

i can’t bitch at this car anymore it would be a horrible divorce and i would never get my roi, 8s here i come

New pulley on, 2.85, not really much to change in the tune. Still waiting on GHF to send new bypass. Going to send it on Friday and see how it fares. may do second gear launches too.

I have some distilled water and water wetter, has anyone switched this out in their killer chiller in their supercharger or should I just experiment and dilute the stock 50/50 mix and to get it to 70/30 with water being the dominant item in the ratio?

I've used water wetter in the past and it seemed to leave some silt like residue in the cooling system. I'd go for water mix. Just dont forget and let it freeze in winter. That happened to more than one.

I ran Water Wetter years ago... I could not measure a difference in temps... Gave up on it...

If you need help with the second gear launch let me know. But pretty much just look at the eco tables and you’ll see how to leave in second.

With a chiller, I wouldn’t run water without some sort of coolant mixed in to lower the freeze point.

Here’s why and also note that temps measured at the ICT sensor will be warmer than in the chiller itself.

Ah, excellent call, I forgot all about that chiller! Some math for mixtures and freeze points will be needed to find the minimum anti-freeze to water ratio for the temps you see, and I'd obviously error on the conservative side.

Yeah definitely don't want to do that.

Stock system takes 4.5 quarts,1.125 gallons, the BMR tank adds approximately 1.5 gallons. Total 2.625 gallons all together.

1.3125 / 1.3125 is the 50/50 mix. To convert to 70% water 30% coolant as per Kincaids directions I would need to get to: 1.8375 / 0.7875

1.3125 - 0.7875 = .525

So remove approximately half a gallon of coolant and replace with distilled water.
(kincaid's directions for reference: https://killerchiller.com/universal-kc-system)

It’s just one more thing to worry about. I make it so the car can’t shift into first. I did the whole paddle thing and realized I had more to worry about than shifting.

Lid or main bolts? If the main ones then it would help to take off the belt.

Yeah thats what I had to do in the end, came back here and saw your post. Thank you… Im such an idiot sometimes. I think this car has just drained/fatigued me this season and Im worn out. Keep spending money but to don’t go faster. The pure definition of insanity.

It’s ok, ask me how I know. 😂

Made the same mistake myself once upon a time ago.
